Wearer of many hats, untangler of complicated workflows
My interests have always centered on experiences and the natural order of things. Have you ever packed a car for a camping trip? There's the "tetris" of getting everything in just so. Then there's ordering the car by what you'll need and when, so unpacking and setting up is easier.
Every process in my life works that way, from how I clean to the order I prepare food (mise en place, please). Product design was no coincidence of a fit: it lets me stretch that logical part of my brain into making people's lives easier.
I hope what I design makes it easy for people to do the tasks they need to do, in order to save time for what they want to do.
Where that's taken me
15+ years in product design, from creative direction and agency strategy to seven years at Customer.io, where I've been the design lead on Design Studio, the content hub for a workspace, and shipped features like localization, in-product AI, and the design system behind it all.
How I work now
In the last year I've rebuilt my process around AI. I prototype in Claude to diverge, pressure-test the strongest concepts before bringing them to my team, and turn research synthesis into decision-ready design docs. I've built custom skills to audit and review my own design work. With Cursor and Claude Code, I take ideas from prototype to shipping production code. This site is one of them, designed and built with Claude Code.
